— Food and Local Attractions: In addition to the food offerings at the Morris Inn, the campus has a variety of eateries, including the sports-themed Legends Restaurant and Pub, along with such national chains as Starbucks and Au Bon Pain, and the food-truck-inspired Street Fare. Additional restaurants and a Trader Joe’s are an easy walk from campus at Eddy Street Commons. There are spacious green areas, a circuit for running or walking around the lakes, and the famous Golden Dome, football stadium, and “Touchdown Jesus” to view. The Raclin Murphy Museum of Art opened last year, with notable collections in European and American Art from 1700-1900, a Sculpture Park, and an especially fine exhibit of Indigenous Art of the Americas.
— Parking: If you’re staying at the Morris Inn, directly across from the McKenna Center, you will have the option of paying to park at the lot attached to the inn, or parking for free near the bookstore. If you’re staying elsewhere, information about visitor parking is available on the Notre Dame Guest & Visitor Parking page. Please note that the visitor parking system uses the ParkMobile app or website, as described on the linked website. Parking for 4+ hours is $10.
