SEA Scholar of the Month Archive

Welcome to the Society of Early Americanists Scholar of the Month Archive.

Here is the announcement from Gordon Sayre about the Scholar of the Month feature:

“The Society of Early Americanists is pleased to announce a new feature that will highlight the exciting research and career achievements of SEA members. We’ve decided to call it scholars of the month. In short interviews the scholars will tell us about their career path, favorite works, new courses, recent publications, digital humanities projects or other work in progress. The feature will appear both on our social media accounts and on our website. At the start of the month the honored scholar will be a longstanding member or senior colleague. Mid-way through the month we will feature a junior colleague, chosen from among those nominated by peers. This feature will enable members and the public to learn more about SEA scholars’ work and interests. We think of it as another chance to get to know one another, outside of our yearly conferences. We hope you enjoy it.”
