The Society of Early Americanists Newsletter (SEAN), a brief history

In the Summer of 1989, William J. Scheick issued the American Colonial Authors Society Newsletter, Volume 1, Number 1, serving as editor. In 1992, upon the founding of the SEA, the newsletter was renamed The Society of Early Americanists Newsletter (SEAN), edited by William J. Scheick, volume 4.2-18.1 1992 -2006. Dr. Richard Frohock of Oklahoma State University served as the second Editor of the Society of Early Americanists Newsletter, Spring 2007-Spring 2011, volumes 19.1-23.1.
