To join the SEA, please click here for the on-line Membership Form The Society of Early Americanists provides a forum for scholarly and pedagogical exchange and professional support among scholars of various disciplines who study the literature and culture of America to approximately 1800. Our membership of over 450 individuals enjoys a bi-yearly newsletter detailing recent publications and activities in our field, a website that lists announcements and updates on our events, has links to many documents of interest to early American scholars and teachers, and a listserv that posts conference announcements, queries, and scholarly pursuits. We also offer opportunities for networking and dissemination of professional work. Please consider joining us. Members receive the Newsletter and are invited to participate on the listserv as well as to attend the annual meetings of the Society at our conferences or, in alternate years, at the American Literature Association conference. Please see the Conferences page for the dates and locations of those meetings. If you are interested in joining the Society, please click here for the on-line Membership Form. Welcome!
