I am pleased to announce that the winner of this year’s SEA Essay Contest is Don James McLaughlin, Assistant Professor of English at the University of Tulsa, for the essay “Charity and Sylvia’s Adult Cradle: A Crip Queer Method for Early American Studies.”
We will present the award to Don James at the 2022 C19 Conference in Coral Gables. In the meantime, please join me in congratulating Don James for his excellent work.
