Registration, Program, and Conference Information
Please see below a schedule for the conference as of 2 March 2009. If any information still needs correction, please let Tom Krise (tkrise@pacific.edu) know as soon as possible. Here are a few friendly reminders:
- everyone on the program—and everyone wishing to take advantage of the $200 room credit at the hotel—needs to be registered for the conference by the time we turn over the list of registrants to the hotel (probably by Thursday 5 March). https://appserv.mnstate.edu/sea/conference/conference.php
- a person only needs to Register for the conference in order to receive the room credit, but does not need to be an SEA member, unless presenting or chairing.
- all presenters and chairs need to be both Registered for the conference and to be current SEA members.
Please make sure that your SEA membership is current. You can join or renew your membership online at: https://appserv.mnstate.edu/sea/seajoin.php
SEA Panel Guidelines:
Please remember to keep your papers short enough to fit into the time allotted. For instance, a paper that is 10-pages, double-spaced, 12-point, with the font Courier New will take about 20 minutes to read. If you plan to make extemporaneous remarks during the reading of the paper, then please limit your typed paper accordingly.
Panel Sessions will be one hour and a half, which will allow for brief introductions, 3 papers of 20 minutes each; 4 papers of 15 minutes each; or a Roundtable with 5 speakers of 10 minutes each, followed by 15 minutes for discussion.
Panels work best when we can hear all the papers and then have enough time for discussion. Thanks for your help in making the sessions rewarding experiences for all.
